Hitachi Koki released a press announcement in November last year that the brand name will change to “HiKOKI” officially on power tools from 1st October 2018 in line with the company’s ambitious international growth strategy.
The brand Hitachi Koki Co. Ltd. a well-known manufacturer of power tools and life-science equipment, will change its corporate name to Koki Holdings Co. Ltd. and will re-brand its full line of power tools known as HITACHI and/or Hitachi Koki under the new name HiKOKI (pronounced “hai-koh-key”). This strategy is aimed at ensuring sustainable growth while expanding business in the nearly 100 countries in Hitachi Koki’s global network.
