Warranty Repairs




Should you have any warranty issues within 7 days of receipt please contact us as soon as possible. We will try to solve the issue for you over the phone, failing this we can put you in contact with a local repair agent or we will arrange for the collection of the tool to be inspected.  If the manufacturer finds the item to be faulty through misuse or damage the customer will be charged for the collection and delivery and be required to pay within 60 days or the tool will be re sold. Any warranty issues after 7 days of receipt will be the responsibility of the purchaser to collect and return at own cost.


Bosch Professional Warranty


Bosch Professional offer 1 year standard warranty from date of purchase on machines.

You can extend your warranty up to 3 years if you register your tool, lithium-ion battery or charger online at the new Bosch PRO360 portal within 4 weeks of purchase. The term of warranty or service begins on the date of purchase.
This warranty applies to all professional power tools and measuring tools, as well as all associated rechargeable batteries from Bosch. The warranty does NOT apply to high-frequency tools, industrial cordless screwdrivers, pneumatic tools and corresponding accessories. This warranty is applicable from 1st May 2020.

How to register:

  • You will need to register each of your tools individually via Bosch PRO360 website: www.bosch-professional.com/pro360/
  • You can only register if you agree to Bosch storing the data you enter.
  • In order to register within the named period, you will need the invoice or receipt from the seller from whom you acquired the Tool. You should therefore keep the original sales receipt.
  • After registration is complete, you will receive a certificate. This certificate is also needed to exercise the warranty and should be printed out straightaway and kept safely.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Accessories.
  • Demonstration models.
  • Parts that are subject to wear caused by use or other natural wear and defects on the Tool caused by use or other natural wear.
  • Defects on the Tool caused by non-compliance with the operating instructions, improper use, abnormal environmental conditions, inappropriate operating conditions, overload or insufficient servicing or maintenance.
  • Defects on the Tool caused by the use of accessories and supplementary or replacement parts that are not Bosch original parts.
  • Tools that have been modified or added to, and tools that have been fully or partially dismantled.
  • Slight deviations from the specified quality that do not affect the value and functionality of the tool.

In the event of a warranty claim, send your tool directly to Bosch with the purchase receipt and your three-year warranty certificate. The data on both receipts (purchase receipt and certificate) must be consistent.

Bosch Green Warranty


Bosch Green Garden products come with a 2 year warranty, excluding batteries and chargers which are covered by a 12 month warranty

You can extend the warranty on your newly purchased Bosch DIY power tool, garden tool or measuring tool to 3 years at no extra charge. All you have to do to extend the warranty is log on to MyBosch and register your tool within 4 weeks of purchasing it.

Bosch gives you a two-year warranty on tools used for domestic purposes. During this period, the Bosch Repair Service including shipping of your faulty tool are free of charge. 

Please note proof of purchase for the product will be required in order to make a warranty claim.

Any defect, which is recognised by Bosch as being covered by this guarantee, shall be corrected by means of either:

Repair of the Product free of charge by Bosch*

Replacement of the Product with an equivalent Product free of charge from Bosch*

*The option to repair or replace any Product is at the sole discretion of Bosch.

This guarantee does not apply to any fault in the Product arising from:

  • Fair wear and tear
  • Wilful damage, accident or negligence by the consumer or any third party
  • Non-conformity or non-compliance with the operating instructions of the Product by the consumer or any third party
  • Improper use of the Product, including, but not limited to, where a Product has not, or is not, used for its intended purpose by the consumer or any third party
  • Insufficient or incorrect servicing and maintenance of the Product
  • Minor or slight deviations in the Product from the normal condition of the Product that do not affect the value and/or the functionality of the Product
  • Any form of tampering, alteration or repair by the consumer or any third party to the Product
  • The use of accessories, components or spare parts that are not original Bosch parts
  • The use of the Product in abnormal or inappropriate working and/or environmental conditions
  • Abnormal storage conditions
  • Any force majeure event
  • Bosch will only repair the Product in accordance with its obligations two times in any Guarantee Period. A Product that requires a repair three times or more will not be covered by this guarantee, but Bosch may submit to the consumer a quotation to repair the Product.

Dewalt offer standard 1 year guarantee on their tools as addition to your contractual rights as a professional user or your statutory rights as a private non-professional user. DEWALT terms and conditions apply.

DEWALT European PT 3 Year Guarantee is available by registering online using the MyDewalt website withing 4 weeks of purchase.

Fein Warranty


Fein offer a 1 year standard warranty on machines from purchase date.

You are able to extend your warranty to 3 years within 3 months of purchase via the Fein 3 year Plus Warranty

You will be immediately provided with a warranty certificate which entitles you to the 3-year FEIN PLUS warranty. The warranty certificate is automatically saved to your my.FEIN account.

Should you need to return your product for warranty repair you can return your machine to any Fein Dealer, providing your proof of sales (including your FEIN warranty certificate – produced when the tool was registered online).

Your local dealer can be found on the Fein Dealer Locater, where Fein will then collect for inspection.

Festool Warranty All-Inclusive


From 05.11.2020 the registration for the warranty all-inclusive can only be done by you as a customer exclusively in MyFestool. Please note that your dealer can no longer take care over the registration for you.

Festool power tools are fully covered by Warranty all-inclusive for 3 years if registered online within 30 days of purchase. 

Warranty all-inclusive includes:

36 months full repair free of charge

Guarantee claims are VALID:

  • If the delivered machine is proven to have material or manufacturing defects or wear parts (in particular carbon brushes, ball bearings, rubber sleeves, battery packs, sealing rings and switches) damaged as a result of natural wear from normal use of the machine.

Guarantee claims are in particular NOT VALID:

  • In the event of damage to consumables and accessories, especially in the case of sanding discs, sanding pads, plug-it cables, saw blades, routers, stirring rods, blades, cutting equipment and drilling tools.
  • If instructions in the operating manual or other documents accompanying individual machines relating to the connection, installation, commissioning, operation, use and maintenance of machines are ignored.
  • If the machines are used improperly or damaged externally (in particular as a result of falls or impacts).
  • If machine defects occur as a result of the use of non-original accessories or spare parts.
  • If machines are modified, dismantled or components are added.
  • If machines are used for continuous work in industrial applications resulting in extensive wear, or are used persistently for applications that place an above-average load on the machine.

36 months replaced in the event of theft

In the event of a theft, Festool will supply you with a new machine to replace your stolen machine without additional insurance costs, subject to payment of a £100 incl. VAT excess fee. Festool provides this service for all successfully registered Festool machines for 36 months from the date of the original invoice.The replacement machine cannot be registered for the guarantee again.The replacement machine qualifies for the services from the warranty all-inclusive package for the guarantee period remaining on the stolen machine. However, the replacement machine is not protected against theft. Your statutory warranty rights for the replacement machine remain unaffected.
To use this service, the theft must be reported immediately to the relevant police authorities. Notice of the theft must be made to TTS GB Customer Service within 5 days together with your crime reference number.

10 year spare part availability (original parts replaced)

Festool guarantee that spare parts will be available for a minimum of 10 years after a product is discontinued. If Festool is unable to keep its promise, you will receive a comparable new machine from the current product range free of charge as a replacement in exchange for your old machine.

HiKOKI Warranty


Heavy Duty 3 Year Warranty

The HiKOKI Heavy Duty Warranty scheme covers cordless and electric power tools. As of October 2018, Hikoki no longer require registration to be completed for the 3 year warranty. In the event of a warranty claim all you need to do is complete a warranty return, but please note you must have your proof of purchase.

If your tool was purchased prior to October 2018, you will need to quote your warranty registration number as well as providing your proof of purchase. If you can’t find your registration number, please email info@hikoki-powertools.co.uk for assistance.

The extended warranty is still subject to terms and conditions. Some batteries and tools are not eligible for the extended warranty.

Hi5 Extended Warranty

Hikoki now also offer HiKOKI Power Tools extended 5 year warranty for cordless brushless tools in their 18V and 36V (Multi Volt) ranges. You can register your cordless brushless power tools for an extra 2 years over the automatic 3 years from the heavy duty 3 year warranty. Batteries of 5.0Ah and above are covered, as well as Multi Volt batteries. Online registration is required within 4 weeks of purchase. Terms & conditions apply.

HiKOKI power tools are warranted to the original owner to be free from defect in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the original purchase date (see exceptions below).


Extended warranty offer DOES NOT cover items that HiKOKI Power Tools deem to be consumable, for example:

  • Batteries (except 5.0Ah, 6.0Ah and 8.0Ah Li-Ion batteries as above)
  • Battery chargers
  • Chucks
  • Accessories
  • Storage equipment such as tool bags, cases, tool vaults

The warranty is void if:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship or damages result from repairs or alterations which have been made or attempted by others or the unauthorised use of nonconforming parts.
  • The damage is due to normal wear and tear.
  • The damage is due to abuse (including overloading of the HiKOKI Product beyond capacity), improper maintenance, neglect or accident.
  • The damage is due to use of the HiKOKI Product after partial failure, use with improper accessories or non-compliance with operating instructions.
  • The damage is due to slight deviations from specification that do not affect tool function or value.

This extended warranty offer is only open to HiKOKI products purchased new within the UK bearing a visible serial number and ‘CE’ marking. This extended limited warranty is not available to hire fleet; a standard three (3) months is available only.

Makita offer 1 year standard warranty on machines from purchase date.

Makita offer an extended 3 year warranty on machines from purchase date when registered online*. Registration required within 30 days via Makita 3-year Warranty Registration

Metabo offer 1 year standard warranty on machines from purchase date.

To give you additional peace of mind Metabo are also offering 3 Year XXL extended warranty. The 3 Year XXL extended warranty uniquely applies to ALL machines, ALL chucks, ALL chargers and ALL batteries.
After registration, your normal warranty is simply extended to 3 years from the date of purchase.

Milwaukee Warranty


Milwaukee offer standard 1 year warranty from the date of purchase.

MILWAUKEE® tools warranty can be extended from 1 year to a maximum of 3 years (1+2) using the registration on the www.milwaukeetool.eu website.

With the exception of MX FUEL™ Tools for which warranty can be extended from 1 year to a maximum of 2 years (1+1).

All MILWAUKEE® REDLITHIUM™ batteries including MX FUEL™ batteries come with a standard 1 year warranty which can be extended to a maximum of 2 years (1+1).
M28 rechargeable battery packs, battery chargers and accessories are not included in the warranty extension.

For servicing, the product must be sent or presented to a MILWAUKEE® authorised service station listed for each country in the following list of service station addresses. In some countries your local MILWAUKEE® dealer undertakes to send the product to the MILWAUKEE® service organisation. When sending a product to an MILWAUKEE® service station, the product should be safely packed without any dangerous contents, marked with sender’s address and accompanied by a short description of the fault.

Excluded from the extended guarantee are:

  • Damage caused by accidents, negligence, improper repairs or adjustments and misuse
  • Normal wear, tear and deterioration such as discolouration, scratches etc

  • Parts without proof of purchase or replacement date

If your tool has fired around 50,000 shots or more, there is a chance that the tool may need a service. This is a general maintenance service and would not be included in the warranty of the tool, regardless of whether or not it is within its warranty period. You can take your tool back to any of our authorised distributors to aid you with this. For this there will be an associated cost which is dependent on the tool.

Senco Warranty


Warranties differ between tools. In general XtremePro tools have a warranty of 5 years, gas tools have a warranty of 2 years, and other products have a warranty of 1 year. Always check the product information to see what is the case. It is also shown on the box that the tool comes in.

Your receipt/proof of purchase starts your warranty, there is no need to register online.

Trend Warranty


The standard warranty period on all Trend products is 12 months. Products that are eligible for an extended Warranty Period, are subject to registration within 28 calendar days of purchase.

On the account management page you can then register your power tool for the warranty extension.

A Guarantee Certificate will be produced at the end of the process, which can be printed or stored on your computer. Please note the Certificate will also be stored in Your Trend Account Management section for future access.

You will need to register each purchased tool separately.

If you need to make a claim under the 3 year warranty, you will need the Product Guarantee Certificate together with the original proof of date of purchase. After registration your warranty is simply extended to 3 years from the date of purchase.
The warranty only applies to new product(s) purchased from an authorised Trend retailer

This warranty does not cover:

  • accidental or wilful damage;
  • products that have been altered or modified in any way;
  • products serviced or repaired by unauthorised Trend Service Agents;
  • products connected to improper power supply;
  • products with defaced, altered or removed identification labels;
  • damage caused by neglect, overloading or misuse;
  • damage resulting from improper or lack of maintenance;
  • damage caused by foreign substances;
  • damage caused by use of unauthorised and/or third-party parts and accessories;
  • parts and accessories which are subject to fair wear and tear;
  • consumable parts which are intended to be replaced during the life of the product as identified in the instruction manual;
  • counterfeit or stolen products;
  • minor deviations from the specified quality that do not affect the functionality or value of the product;
  • partially or completely disassembled tools.

All Warranty claims must be received by Trend (or a Trend Authorised Service Agent - UK only) within the Warranty Period.

Brennenstuhl Warranty


Brennenstuhl offer 3, 5 or 10 years of guarantee on their tools. The guarantee period is indicated by the respective Brennenstuhl Guarantee icon on the device or its original packaging (or Brennenstuhl sales catalogue). The guarantee period starts with the date of purchase.

What is covered by guarantee

The manufacturer guarantee extends to the material and manufacturing defects occurred in the production of the device.

What is NOT covered by guarantee

Rechargeable batteries, batteries and lamps are excluded by the manufacturer guarantee. Please be aware that defects of the device due to improper use or foreign interference are excluded by the guarantee.

To arrange a faulty product repair under guarantee, please contact Brennenstuhl via online form
Please note: you will have to provide a copy of a specified purchase receipt (sales slip, delivery note or bill of the selling distributor) as a proof of purchase. The delivery must take place in stable and break-proof packaging along with appropriate wrapping of the device to avoid damages in transit.

3-Year Einhell Product Warranty
3-Year Einhell Power X-Change Battery Warranty

Register your new Einhell product within 30 days of purchase. After registration the warranty for your Einhell product is extended by an additional year to a total of 3 years. 

What is covered:
The service is only available for the following brands: Einhell Red, Einhell Classic, Einhell Car Classic, Einhell Car Expert, Einhell Home, Einhell Expert, Einhell Expert Plus, Einhell Professional, Einhell Power X-Change.
You will find the brand name on the packaging, in the operating instructions and on the nameplate of your product.

10-Year Einhell PurePOWER Brushless Warranty

Register your new Einhell PurePOWER Brushless product within 30 days of purchase and benefit from the extended warranty on the machine's motor. After registration the warranty for your Einhell product is extended to a total of 10 years.

This warranty covers only defects in the engine that are due to a material or manufacturing defect!

Warranty claims are void in these cases:

- Improper use, storage, use of unsuitable operating materials.  
- Wear and consequential damage (also to the motor) due to lack of maintenance, care, lubricants 
- Damage to the unit due to wear and tear that is unusual or normal in use.
- Damage to the engine caused by non-observance of the installation instructions.
- In the case of Einhell Classic or Expert products used for commercial, manual or professional purposes (exception: Professional units may be used for this purpose)

Einhell will arrange collection of your machine or if you would prefer you can use their return service both of which are available online. For all valid claims this service is completely free to use and includes any costs relating to collection, redelivery, repair costs and replacement costs.
