The Wera 7516 VDE Kraftform Safe-Torque Speed Torque Screwdriver is a VDE-insulated torque screwdriver designed for electricians, engineers and professionals who require accurate, repeatable torque control when working on electrical installations. Certified for use up to 1,000 V and individually tested at 10,000 V in accordance with IEC 60900, it provides reliable protection and precise fastening performance where correct torque settings are essential.
Featuring five selectable preset torque values - 2.4, 2.8, 3.2, 3.6 and 4.0 Nm - the screwdriver allows controlled tightening in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The slip-over torque mechanism provides an audible and tactile feedback signal when the preset value is reached, helping prevent overtightening and damage to sensitive components. A dedicated Torque Lock position allows the torque limitation to be disengaged for unrestricted tightening and loosening when required. The fast-rotating sleeve enables efficient adjustment during repetitive tasks, while the handle is compatible exclusively with Wera Kraftform Kompakt VDE interchangeable blades via a 9 mm hexagon mounting system, maintaining the complete VDE insulation protection of the tool.
