L Class extractors are regarded as ‘entry-level’ with M Class being the next step up. L-Class mean 'Light Hazards' and this type of extractor should be used for mixed/lower toxicity dusts, for example when working with soft woods and solid surface material such as Corian.
The filter leakage (as a % of collected dust) is less than 1% with maximum allowable concentrations (MAC) > 1 mg/m³.
