This Milwaukee SL50 flap disc uses high-quality zirconium aluminium oxide grain for a genuinely longer service life on steel and stainless steel V2A (1.4301) / V4A (1.4401) than a standard aluminium oxide disc. A natural fibre backing pad is vibration-damped and noise-absorbing, keeping the disc comfortable to run for longer sessions, while staying flexible enough to adapt perfectly to the shape of the workpiece. This 125mm disc has an angled (conical) design that keeps the disc face flatter to the workpiece for aggressive stock removal, and a G40 grit gives a balance of stock removal and finish suited to that grade.
