More than 20 Years In Business

Family-owned since 1998, Powertool World has become one of the UK's largest tool distributors – and we're still growing. Founded by Chris Guy over 20 years ago, CG Fixings started out selling fittings and fixings to job sites. Spotting a real need for quick access to power tools, Chris decided to include them in his portfolio. Not being able to meet the huge demand, CG Fixings went online and started trading as Powertool World and the rest is history!

Over 20 years later and Powertool World is up there with the leading power tool, fixings and fittings suppliers, not just in the UK, but also across Europe. Having recently moved into two large warehouses in Newton Aycliffe, there was a real need to get on top of the game to make sure the service levels didn't drop - resulting in a new addition to the team - the fully automated packing machine, the Neopost CVP-500!

Made by Neopost this fit-to-size packaging automation will size, construct, tape, weigh and label each custom order, creating the perfect package and eliminating the need for void fill materials.
