The Metabo WE 24-230 MVT is a 9in angle grinder built around a 2300W Marathon motor with patented dust protection, giving it a genuinely long service life on demanding cutting and grinding work. Metabo VibraTech (MVT) combines an integrated damping system with a specially designed side handle to cut vibration transfer back to the user, which matters over a long shift on this kind of tool. Electronic safety shutdown reduces kickback if the disc stops unexpectedly, working alongside a deadman's switch, starting current limitation and Metabo's own safety switch to prevent unintentional starts. The rotating back handle and a side handle that mounts in three positions mean you can find the right grip for cutting as well as grinding, and auto-stop carbon brushes protect the motor once they wear down.
