The Metabo CS 22-355 is a powerful metal chop saw for cutting profiles, pipes and rods made of steel, non-ferrous metals, iron and cast profiles, built for genuine daily site use. A quick clamping device with variable mitre setting handles angled cuts from -15 to 45 degrees, and a large handle positioned transverse to the cutting axis gives optimum power transmission while cutting. An adjustable cutting depth limiter makes the most of the cutting disc, and disc changes are quick thanks to the spindle lock. Maximum user safety comes from a swivelling cutting guard, adjustable spark deflector sheet and rubberised base, backed by a safety switch to guard against accidental start-up, and a robust, large machine table with built-in wrench storage and a carry handle keep it practical to transport around site.
