This Metabo 18v LiHD 4.0Ah Li-Ion Battery is a new dimension in battery technology. LiHD battery packs are for the ultimate performance and extremely long application with minimal temperature generation.

The combination of new high-performance battery cells and completely newly developed components in the pack ensure that maximum power remains available for an extremely long time. The revolutionary LiHD high-performance cells have a completely new electro-mechanical design with significantly stronger conductors,which in combination with more active material, permit a significant increase in the accessible power output, resulting in more usable energy for you.

The LiHD batteries offer 67% more power, 87% longer run time and 100% longer service life.

Metabo ASC 55 12v / 14.4v / 18v / 36v LiHD / Li-Ion Diagnostic Air Cooled Charger

This ASC 55 Diagnostic Air Cooled Battery Charger is for use with all Li-Power Compact, Li-Power Plus and Li-Power Extreme battery packs (12v, 14.4v, 18v or 36v). It is part of the CAS Cordless Alliance System. Updated version of the charger previously known as the ASC 30-36 V.

"AIR COOLED" function: the patented principle is based on air-cooling the battery pack during the charging process. The battery packs are gently cooled down to the required charging temperature, and then during the charging process are constantly maintained at optimum temperature. With this principle, a higher tool life of the battery packs and up to 30% shorter total charging time can be achieved.
