This SGS 18 LTX Q Shrub & Grass shear is part of the new gardening range from Metabo. This cordless grass shear requires 18v Li-Ion batteries - it's supplied body only, so batteries and chargers must be purchased separately.
One battery pack for everything – nine power tool manufacturers including Metabo present a joint battery pack system with the Cordless Alliance System (CAS). This is something no power tool providers have done before, having a manufacturer-independent battery pack system. This is a fantastic advantage for the end user in regards to cost - not having to invest in several different battery platforms for different tools across their business, just the one, and a quality powered one at that!
