The Makita DKP181RTJU 18v LXT 82mm Planer is a hand planer for up to 3 mm planing depth and 82 mm planing width. Depth adjustment is easy with the thumbwheel. Removable chute port on left or right side. Handy for example for shortening intermediate doors or narrowing panels and moldings.

This DKP181RTJU kit comes complete with 2x BL1850B 5.0Ah 18v lithium-ion batteries and a DC18RC compact charger, all packed neatly in a Makpac type 3 carry case with inlay tray.

• 3mm cutting depth – high powered brushless motor allows up to a maximum 3mm cutting depth
• 25mm shiplapping cuts – housing design has been re-engineered to allow for up to a 25mm cutting depth
• 3 chamfering grooves – easy chamfering by aligning the groove with the edge of the workpiece. 3 different size grooves allow for different groove dimensions
• Electric blade brake – blade rapidly stops after the trigger has been released, preventing user injury or damage to the workpiece
