Makita 191A59-5 PDC01 Twin 18v LXT Direct Connection Portable Power Supply Backpack
The Makita 191A59-5 enables users of 18v LXT batteries to get longer run time by using this portable power supply PDC01, which can hold up to 4x 18v LXT batteries (3.0Ah, 4.0Ah, 5.0Ah & 6.0Ah). It has an IPX4 waterproof design and includes an 18v and Twin 18v (36v) adaptor which makes it compatible with all 18v LXT tools. The 191A59-5 power supply can also be used as a stationary power pack by detaching the backpack harness and has a height adjustable waist belt. There is also a 1.7m power supply cord included.
On the side of the power pack are battery indicator lights which allows you to check the charge of the batteries within the case without the need to stop and look at each battery individually. The power supply will automatically select the battery it uses based on the charge level, using the batteries with the highest charge first - and in the case of twin battery tools, it will use 2 batteries at the same time to power the 36v DC motor.
The Backpack Power Supply attaches directly to Direct Connection power equipment for battery-powered convenience and longer run time. The Direct Connection linetrimmer (UR101C) and blower (UB001C) offer direct connection via an on-board umbilical cord. For mowing, the battery can be removed from the backpack and attached directly to the lawn mower for up to 3 hours of continuous cutting. This is the ideal tool to provide additional runtime to your power tools, especially when working in remote areas or where a power supply is not available. Suitable for use with the UB001C/UR101C.
