The HiKOKI UC18YSL3 charger kit is compatible with Li-Ion batteries. The UC18YSL3 is capable of charging 14.4v, 18v and 36v slide style batteries. It's cooling feature helps to cool batteries during charging or before charging commences to prevent battery overheating ensuring extended battery life. This charger features a preventative mechanism against charging a hot battery to extend battery life and a 3 way overcharge protection system to ensure battery is not overcharged. The two colour indicator light indicates what stage of charging the battery is in.
The HiKOKI MULTI VOLT battery offers unprecedented power output, similar to mains powered tools when used with a 36v tool*. The battery has a compact, lightweight design and is similar in both size and weight to the existing 18v 5.0Ah and 6.0Ah batteries. It also features a 4-stage battery level indicator with a diagnostic function.
Compatible with the existing range of Hitachi 18v slide battery tools and the new range of 36v Multi Volt tools. Compatible with existing 18v chargers and the new UC36YSL.
