This FEIN VARIO tap lets an impact wrench cut and clean M12 threads through holes, doing a job that would otherwise need a separate tap wrench and a lot more time and effort. Built from high strength tool steel (64 HRC) with a TiAlN coating, it's engineered specifically for the cutting geometry and heat that comes with impact wrench use, low-wear and low-friction, and heat resistant up to 800C. That combination lets it work in unalloyed and alloyed steels up to 900 N/mm2, as well as aluminium and brass, and it only works in conjunction with the matching FEIN VARIO adapter.
