The Evolution R255SMS-DB-Li brings genuine multi-material cutting to a cordless sliding mitre saw, powered by two 18V batteries working together to deliver 36V of hi-torque brushless performance. It cuts mild steel, non-ferrous metals, wood, wood with embedded nails, and plastic with a single blade, producing clean, cool-to-the-touch, virtually spark-free cuts in steel rather than the heat and burrs a standard saw leaves behind. Double bevel tilt runs 48° left and right, with 50°-50° mitre settings, covering the angles most site and workshop cutting jobs need. On a full charge with two 5.0Ah batteries, it's rated for around 320 cuts in 4x2in CLS timber, genuinely enough for a full day's work without stopping to recharge.
