This DURO 135 x 205mm Blade Clayspade Hex Shank is suitable for use with the Makita HM1812 breaker.
A clayspade hex shank is a purpose-designed blade for cutting and digging through boulder clay. The geometry of the clayspade shape facilitates the cutting action returning to an open face. If the edge is damaged during use, it will destroy the natural scooping action. This tool tends to be favoured by tunnelling contractors, and companies specialising in underpinning in clay conditions. They are also excellent for general garden and landscaping work.
