Makita SDS+ drills are designed with durability and power in mind. This set of tools will allow you to chisel through most surfaces without resistance, all with an ergonomic shape to help reduce the risk of injury when you use it on a semi regular basis.
One of the options you have is the 3 Mode Makita HR2630 SDS+ Drill with built-In torque limiter. Offering exacting precision, this powerful drill allows you to stop precisely at certain depths. There are three modes for you to choose from, including hammering with rotation for tough jobs. You can then disengage bit jams with ease if you hit rebar, helping to maintain safety. The maximum capacity in concrete is 80 mm with a diamond core bit, while steel has an maximum of 13 mm and wood 32 mm. The hammer has an impressive 800w of power that makes it powerful enough for most jobs.
The Makita DLX6068PT 18v Lithium-Ion 6 Piece Cordless Kit is another exceptional choice. Included in the kit is the powerful DHR202Z LXT SDS+ rotary hammer along with five other pieces. The hammer drill is fully charged in 22 minutes and weighs 40% less than other devices. You’ll also note it can drill 20 mm into concrete with ease, while offering 2.0 J of impact energy when in use. Perhaps most impressive is the fact that these Makita SDS+ hammers can deliver 4,000 blows per minute.
