The Bosch EasyImpact 550 is a compact and affordable hammer drill which is suitable for drilling into everything from wood and plastic to tough materials like concrete and masonry. Equipped with a variable speed trigger and forward/reverse modes, it can also be used to drive screws and includes a dedicated screwdriver mode along with drilling and hammer drilling settings. Improvements over previous generations of Bosch hammer drills include a redesigned ergonomic housing with extra softgrip padding for increased comfort, an anti-slip auxiliary handle which remains securely locked in place during use, and an integrated loop underneath the handle which enables the machine to be hung from a suitable hook or fixture in between tasks.
