Festool SERVICE all-inclusive
In addition to high quality tools Festool are offering highly sophisticated customer service when you register your tool online. You'll have to log in your My Festool account (or create a new one) and submit the required information. By registering your tool you will automatically get access to all-inclusive Festool service.
Batteries and battery chargers cannot be registered. They automatically benefit from Warranty all-inclusive. For batteries and battery chargers purchased as accessories a copy of the invoice serves as proof.
HOW TO REGISTER - A DETAILED GUIDE:
After logging into MyFestool Account click on "register your tool". You will be taken to the registration form where you will be required to input the tool information and the dealer name you purchased it from. You can register more than one tool at the same time - simply click "Add an additional tool" button to add another. Your tool information can be found on your Warranty Card or Type Plate affixed to your tool. Make sure you give the correct dealer name as failing this could invalidate your warranty.
When registered your tools you will benefit from Warranty All-inclusive as listed below
3 YEARS OF FREE REPAIRS.**
If something is faulty, it is repaired free of charge, including labour and replacement parts (even wear parts), for 3 years. They will collect the tool if required and return it free of charge also. To be able to take advantage of this you need to:
- Have your tool registered for Warranty all-inclusive within 30 days of purchase.
- Simply send your tool for repair
- Ideally, you should request your repair directly with Festool. The quickest way to do this is via online repair order form. You can, also, contact them via phone number +44 (0) 1284 760 791 or email service-uk@festool.com
Warranty claims are not valid if:
- consumable materials and accessories become damaged, in particular sanding pads, abrasive sheets, plug-it cables, saw blades, router bits, stirring rods, cutting blades, cutting accessories and drill bits.
- instructions in the operating manual or other documents accompanying individual machines relating to the connection, installation, commissioning, operation, use and maintenance of machines are ignored.
- the machines are used improperly or damaged externally (as a result of falls or impacts), machine defects occur as a result of the use of non-original accessories or spare parts.
- machines are modified, dismantled or components are added.
- machines are used for continuous work in industrial applications resulting in extensive wear, or are used persistently for applications that place an above-average load on the machine.
3 YEARS OF THEFT PROTECTION.
You will not need to insure your new Festool tools against theft. In the event of theft, Festool will replace it with a new tool, one time only, in return for an excess payment of £100 inc. VAT. The Festool GmbH provides this service for all successfully registered Festool machines for 3 years from the date on the original sales slip.
The replacement tool is not protected against theft.
To take advantage of this service, the theft must be reported immediately to the relevant police authorities. Notice of the theft must be presented to Festool UK together with your service certificate within 5 days of the theft.
After the document is checked, Festool GmbH will inform you of the status of your claim and following approval by the Festool GmbH, the new machine will be posted to you on payment of the previously mentioned excess fee.

- Have your tool registered for Warranty all-inclusive within 30 days of purchase.
- If your tool is then stolen, report the loss immediately to the police.
- Present the theft report and the warranty certificate to your dealer.
- After paying an excess of £100 inc. VAT, you will receive a new tool.
10 YEAR SPARE PART AVAILABILITY.
You don't have to worry about repairs if your tool gets discontinued - Festool guarantee availability of spare parts for at least 10 years. And if against all expectations the spare part is not available they will send you a replacement tool - free of charge! To report a fault or order a spare part you will have to:
- Have your tool registered for Warranty all-inclusive within 30 days of purchase.
- Report a fault via the online repair request form.

15 DAYS MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.
In case you are not 100% satisfied with the tool you purchased, you have 15 days to change your mind and Festool will give you 100% of your money back.
- Register Your Tool for Warranty all-inclusive within 30 days of purchase.
- Test the tool in your workshop or on the construction site.
- If it doesn't meet your requirements, simply bring it back to the dealer within 15 days of purchase.
