The adjustable depth stop allows for more precise control when plunge cutting sheet material. Holes can be cut into a range of different materials like plywood cabinets, or for when electrical boxes and outlets or recess lighting is being installed. It can also be used for cutting acoustic ceiling tiles, when installing sprinkler systems and can even cut non-ferrous and light gauge metals.
