Warranty Repairs

All power tools sold by Powertoolworld are covered under a minimum 12 month manufacturers warranty.

In order for our customers to get the best possible service we have provided the fastest ways to get your tools fixed if the tool has a warranty fault.

Before contacting us or our partners please check that you have :-

  •  Read the instructions fully and used the machine in accordance with the instructions.
  •  You have correctly charged any rechargable batteries
  • The rechargable batteries have been inserted in the tool/charger correctly as some of the modern tools require a "Double Click" to secure the battery.

The manufactures warranty does not apply where:

  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
  • Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear.
  • The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained.
  • Alterations have been made to the tool.
  • This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

If the manufacturer finds that the fault is not covered under warranty you will be charged for the repair and also for the collection and delivery charges.

A labour charge for assessing the tool may also be charged.

Tools will not be returned until paymant has been made in full.

All warranties are offered by the tool manufacturers, as such Powertoolworld.co.uk and CG Fixings Ltd are in no way liable for claims due to loss of profit, damages  or delivery/collection charges. 

When returning any tools for warranty repair please enclose a copy of the origional invoice and your full contact details including a daytime contact number.

Please enclose a cheque payable to CG Fixings Ltd for the sum of £6.50 to cover return postage to you.

We will ensure that the tool is repaired under the terms of the Makita Warranty and returned to you.

FEIN

Please return the item at your cost to our address along with a payment of £6.50 to cover return postage (New rules from Fein as of 14th December 2010).

FESTOOL       

1. To arrange collection of the tool please call Festool service.                        

Alternatively, you can e-mail Festool.

You will need to send Festool the pick up address and contact number and the tool will be picked up the following day.

 2. Please complete the repair order form so they have the full details of the fault. This form must always be attached to the tool too. This will reduce the time and cost of the repair. We regret we are unable to process any Festool repairs without a repair order form completed.
