Warranty Repairs

All power tools sold by Powertoolworld are covered under a minimum 12 month warranty.

In order for our customers to get the best possible service we have provided the fastest ways to get your tools fixed if the tool has a warranty fault.

Before contacting us or our partners please check that you have :-

  •  Read the instructions fully and used the machine in accordance with the instructions.
  •  You have correctly charged any rechargable batteries
  • The rechargable batteries have been inserted in the tool correctly as some of the modern tools require a "Double Click" to secure the battery.

The manufactures warranty does not apply where:

  • Repairs have been made or attempted by others.
  • Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear.
  • The tool has been abused, misused or improperly maintained.
  • Alterations have been made to the tool.
  • This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

If the manufacturer finds that the fault is not covered under warranty you will be charged for the repair and also for the collection and delivery charges.

A labour charge for assessing the tool may also be charged.

Tools will not be returned until paymant has been made in full.

When returning any of our tools please enclose a copy of the origional invoice and your full contact details including a daytime contact number.

Please call Tel: 0844 736 0107 and Bosch will arrange to collect the tool and return it as soon as possible.

For all repairs please call our service agent on 02380 737355 and ask for Chris and he will arrange to collect and repair your tool.

        

FESTOOL       

1. To arrange collection of the tool please call Festool service.                        

Alternatively, you can e-mail Festool.

You will need to send Festool the pick up address and contact number and the tool will be picked up the following day.

 2. Please complete the repair order form so they have the full details of the fault. This form must always be attached to the tool too. This will reduce the time and cost of the repair. We regret we are unable to process any Festool repairs without a repair order form completed.
