After reading glowing reviews and shopping around I chose the Bosch GOP and GSR multi cutter and drill driver L Boxx package from Powertoolworld. As previous reviewers have stated, this is tremendous market value for quality tools especially considering the inclusion of an ergonomic powerful compact drill that shares the battery packs, plus the comprehensive range of multi tool accesories. I spent quite a while researching the alternatives including the less robust Bosch cordless PMF range before deciding that this set had it all, but obviously consideration is needed depending on whether the drill and cutter accessories are worth having (I thought definitely so). Delivery was next day as promised with an advance email giving a delivery slot time - wow. I have only used the cutter for detailed sanding so far which it does brilliantly, and the drill is a joy to hold and to use.

This set, which arrived next day, is excellent value for money: you will pay more just for the GOP tool without the GSR screwdriver at another well known online tool supplier. The GSR drill/driver is a gem . I wouldn't be without it now. It's so compact and powerful, and the battery life is very good. The GOP tool lives up to expectations . A great tool for those awkward little jobs. With a little care you can even cut butt hinge recesses. Only one negative: the battery drains far more quickly than it does with the drill/driver . This is not a real problem with the second battery which keeps you working with little interruption. I'd still choose the chargeable version as a mains lead is always a nuisance, especially in awkward siituations. Since this is an oscillating tool you need a slightly different technique : the tool has to lean from side to side slightly rather than just being held steady at a fixed point. This reduces vibration and greatly improves cutting speed. Take a look at some of the youtube demos to see how it's done.
